I am a long-time customer there at Emery Federal Credit Union. Many years ago, I attended a seminar at your branch on Kemper Road. It was all about rebuilding credit. I had been working with one of your associates, Paula Ozolins, over the phone for a while and had the pleasure to meet her in person during this seminar. During that time, and over the many subsequent years, Paula has guided me and encouraged me in the ways to make my credit better. With her help, and the help of Emery FCU, I have been fortunate enough to make great changes in my financial stability. I have recently established a mortgage for a new home, and today closed on a loan for a new vehicle to start my new job. None of this would have been possible without her help. I wanted to reach out to you and let you know what an exceptional person she is, and a fantastic and irreplaceable asset to your company. She is absolutely, without a doubt, the gold standard by which all customer service representatives, and human beings in general, should be measured. Thank you so much for all that Emery have done for me any my family, and thank Paula personally for all of her wonderful work.
About 8 years ago I was introduced to Emery FCU by my father in law. I had just started a new sales job and desperately needed a new car. I had spent about 2 years rebuilding my credit and financial history after some poor financial decisions in college. And every bank I talked to about a car loan simply looked at me as my credit score, could care less about me, my new job, and my need for the car. Then I was introduced to Sharon at Emery. Sharon sat down with me, took the time to listen to why I needed a car loan, looked into my current and future earning potential at my new job, and then took a chance on me that I was the right fit for a new credit union member. There was not a bank that looked past my credit score, Sharon looked at me. I know credit unions were different and have been a member every since, and my family is as well.
I have been a loyal member of EFCU since before I was born. My Father worked for Emery for 30 years. I want to express my gratitude to you for having such an outstanding employee as Paula Ozolins. I am sure that I am telling you something that you are completely aware of but I can’t speak highly enough about her, her tireless effort and commitment to me as a valued member! With the adverse effects of this pandemic, and the uncertainty we as a nation are all facing, Paula went out of her way to help me with refinancing an auto loan and eliminating my need for a second loan. This lifted my heart to know that the job my Father treasured, still has employees that truly care about their fellow man.
What a great team you have at Emery. Brett is the best. Efficient, timely and courteous. So much faster than working with the big banks. I would recommend this gem to anyone. Thank you again for all of your help.
I wanted to personally thank you for what the credit union is doing for the members. I think it’s way above and beyond to offer to extend our loans out for 90 days and offering an emergency relief loan. That means the world to me and my husband, and that’s one of the many reasons why we stay with the credit union. Both of my children are laid off, and if I’m granted the emergency relief loan, I’m going to give that to my kids until their unemployment can kick in so they can get settled. In this time of chaos and craziness, I wanted to just take a minute and tell you thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart. This is one of the many reasons why we have been with you guys for 42 years.
I want to thank you for the “excellent service” provided to me in getting my recent car purchase moved from Bank of America (BOA) to Emery. As you know, I purchased a 2018 Lexus. I had not planned to purchase a car. The plan was to pay off my current car loan with Emery and search for a new car in December which I would have had financed through Emery as well. Anyway, it was a holiday weekend and I knew Emery was closed, so I completed the loan application with Lexus being told the lien holder would be BOA. A few days later, you contacted me and the rest is history. I’m so happy to say my car loan is now with Emery and an added bonus is the balance transfer of (2) large balance accounts to my MasterCard with lower interest. I simply love doing business with “my” credit union, Emery Federal Credit Union!! Working with you Paula has truly been awesome!! Although we mostly communicated via emails, your kindness, professionalism, and promptness was very much displayed. I’m very appreciative. Lastly, I believe my checking account has been with Emery Federal Credit Union for close to or over 20 years. I don’t carry a high balance in my checking or saving, but what little I have I always try to keep my checking account balanced and pay my bills on time. Most of all it gives me peace of mind knowing I have a credit union who appreciates my business and that I can call on you when in need of service.
