If you’ve had credit missteps in the past, we want to help.

We’ve seen it before. You make a mistake (or a few) in your past and it ruins your credit. Now you’re back on your feet and want to get a car or a house, but your credit score is so low, it feels impossible. We want to help you.

Emery’s Rebuild Program uses secured loans that will allow you to build your credit back up so you can achieve your financial goals.

One option is our secured credit card.

When you are approved for a secured credit card, you’ll put money down toward a credit limit when you open the card. This helps in two ways. You can use the card exactly like you would a credit card. Then, since staying below your credit card limit is important to boosting your score, you won’t be able to overcharge your card. Regular usage and on-time payments will help to boost your score, sometimes in as little as 12 months. You can open a secured credit card with as little as $350 down, although we do recommend more to help keep your credit card utilization low (another credit score boosting tactic).

Our other option is our credit builder loan.

When you open a credit builder loan, $1,000 or $2,000 is held back in a savings account for you. After the loan is paid off, that money is yours to keep! This loan has affordable payments and short terms, so you could give your credit a boost in 12 months if you make your payments on time. Plus, it helps you to establish great savings habits if that’s something you’ve struggled with in the past.

As with other loans, the secured credit card and credit builder loan are still subject to credit approval. There are multiple factors that contribute to approving other than credit score. We will walk through your application with you if you have any questions.
